The Description<\/h3>\n<p>This blog category is simply a running record of literary examples encountered daily in our modern world by <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">NoOrdinaryEnglishTeacher<\/span> . We use the word \u201cexample\u201d and not \u201callusion\u201d because some items mentioned may not directly reference anything concrete; they may only loosely remind us of things we learned in our English classes. Either way, that stuff is out there and <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">NoOrdinaryEnglishTeacher<\/span> wants to document it exists.<\/p>\n<h3>2. The Purpose<\/h3>\n<p>This website claims to celebrate and\u00a0demonstrate literature\u2019s affect on our modern world \u2014 there is no better way to do this than keep a running list of LITERARY CONNECTIONS we notice each day. Many people, perhaps including some of us, think they never use the English class material they learned about in school. This blog category was created to help prove otherwise.<\/p>\n<h3>3. The Plan<\/h3>\n<p>Several times a week, as she discovers them,\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">NoOrdinaryEnglishTeacher<\/span> will update readers about LITERARY CONNECTIONS she observes in her own life; these could range from the silly to the serious, to all things in between. Friendly discussion and appropriate commenting about posted topics is appreciated.<\/p>\n<h3>4. The Request<\/h3>\n<p>Something that makes literature so exciting is that we will all never agree about everything; but remember, <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>LiteratureIsNotExtinct<\/strong><\/span> is designed to be a supportive site that encourages others to notice literature at work in their lives.
